A rare brochure for an Armstrong Siddeley Panther c1934, the coachwork of which was built for the Melbourne Armstrong Siddeley dealer Clemenger Motors Pty Ltd

This rare brochure for the Panther Saloon indicates that the locally produced coachwork featuring Queensland maple was fitted to an imported chassis by Australian coachbulders contracted to Clerringer Motors Pty Ltd. Other locally produced vehicles in this series were named after other big-cats with the Armstrong Siddeley Jaguar being produced in Australia long before the Jaguar name was transferred and subsequently used by that now-famous marque.
